After years of working for others, John decided to establish his own company in 1990, founding John Stevenson Plumbing, Heating & Air.
John's vision and commitment to excellence soon garnered attention, and his business flourished. As he expanded his operations and gained a reputation for exceptional service and craftsmanship, he realized the importance of leadership development within the trades industry. Believing in the power of mentorship, John actively supported aspiring plumbers and HVAC technicians, guiding them toward success.
In 2021, John achieved another milestone by acquiring Complete Comfort Plumbing, Heating & Air, further solidifying his position as a leader in the industry. With this acquisition, John broadened his reach and set his sights on expanding his brand throughout Southern California.

His remarkable leadership qualities led him to serve as the President of the Plumbing Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) San Diego chapter and later as President of the California State PHCC. Under his guidance, these organizations flourished, bringing about positive change within the industry.

In 2022, he was honored with the prestigious title of California Contractor of the Year, recognizing his outstanding achievements and contributions to the field. The following year, the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce acknowledged his business acumen by naming his company, John Stevenson Plumbing, Heating & Air, as the Business of the Year 2023.

In his free time, he immerses himself in thrilling off-road adventures with his beloved Jeep, explores the open road on his motorcycle, and perfects his archery skills.
