Ep. 42 Sandra Estrada: Representing Hispanic Women

Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce | City of Carlsbad, California

Sandra Estrada was born and raised in Mexico by a single mom, majored in International Trade and Customs, and after a few years of practice, moved to customer service. With eighteen years of customer service experience in a multicultural manufacturing environment, she began helping companies serve their employees via an employee engagement program.

Sandra appeared on the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce’s podcast and talked about her experiences and services.

She aspires to “be a representative of Hispanic women in this great country where I have lived for over 15 years. I’m very pleased to have started this project where I can help employees, companies, and non-profit organizations locally as well as internationally and impact their lives in a positive way, doing my part towards contributing to a better world.”

The name of her company is HME, which stands for Happy Motivation and Ease for Engagement. They make employees feel more appreciated with personalized employee engagement programs, a software platform, and unique products, creating a happier work environment and increasing employee motivation. They give back to the community and provide volunteering opportunities for the employees. Sandra says 70% of employees believe that volunteering enhances their life. Younger employees work not just for the paycheck; they want to have that sense of meaningful purpose in their job.

Sandra says, “The Carlsbad chamber supports the community and makes a real difference.”
