Personal
I have a personal commitment to my growing family which includes 3 young children and a long term plan to live in Carlsbad. Our goal is to provide a fulfilling life experience for each other with values of honesty, support, respect, communication, and imagination. I have a personal mission to provide an increase of life for everyone I come in contact with. I am a curious reader and follow trends in technology including its integration with higher education.

Professional
I am an entrepreneur and investor who has lived and worked in Carlsbad for 20 years. I have worked with Small and Medium sized business, Fortune 100 Corporations, Public agencies (including schools and universities), and Non- profit organizations. I am highly involved in the improvement of the quality of life for the people in the community. I approach tasks with collaboration and transparency. I continually look to expand my expertise and capabilities, and have not been directly involved in a Podcast.
I have a BS in Business Administration from Appalachian State University majoring in Management Information Systems, and minoring in International Business and English. My first job was a ice skate guard.

Guide my finances
We work with clients on a flat-rate basis to provide unbiased financial advice.
We are fiduciaries.
We manage investments for our clients but don't require it. Once the planning process is complete, it is up to our clients to continue working with us hourly or have us implement the plan for them by managing the investment proposal on a fee basis. (not commission)
Our primary clients are:
Executives of publicly traded companies with stock compensation
Individuals with rental real estate or a desire to own investment real estate
Business owners looking to maximize their tax savings through strategic planning or planning to sell.
My role is business development and real estate consulting. When planning, clients often have questions about real estate purchases, rehab costs and valuations. My expertise allows us to better evaluate these areas, determine potential risks and potential return on investment.

Community involvement:
I currently serve as the Chair-elect for the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce overseeing strategic planning.
I chair the Independent Citizen Oversight Committee that validates the Measure MM $455M Bond with Mira Costa College
I am a graduate of the City of Carlsbad citizens academy.
I have graduated the Community Emergency Response Team training.
I am a member of Infragard, an organization which unites the FBI with private sector business.
I attend the Technology Advisory Committee with the Carlsbad Unified School District
